Dining and Nutrition

Our Dietary department provides quality food service within the long term care guidelines. We at Granite Mesa Health Center ensure that each meal is prepared and presented with the highest quality standards to ensure our resident's dining experience is one to look forward to. Residents are always given an alternate choice entree to choose from so that the most pleasurable dining is experienced.

Activities Program

The activity department at Granite Mesa Health Center is designed to meet the physical and mental needs of our residents. We develop and promote activities that capture the interests of our Residents, help increase their self-esteem, pleasure, comfort and creativity. All of our residents are encouraged to participate in some aspect of the activities program and are always included in special events held at the facility.

Care Plan Meetings

Residents and families are encouraged to attend interdisciplinary care plan meetings. These meetings facilitate interaction between the various medical care departments and provide a formal means of communication with one another about the care of our residents. Care plan meetings are held quarterly and more frequently when a resident's care needs change.

Social Services

Our staff social worker will be an integral part of each resident's stay at Granite Mesa Health Center. We strive to build a relationship with each resident and their families. We promote family involvement and support of our residents.
